There are a few of us!
Barry: A huge Yorkie Terrier (whose mum and dad were teacup yorkies so why he’s so big we don’t know). Whines quite a bit when he’s not in the room with humum and hudad as him and his mum and dad were rescue dogs and they were always left alone so Barry suffers with separation anxiety which has never yet been alleviated even though humum and hudad have tried everything. He never gets left alone at all these days though.
Daddy Bo: Peckalier who gets very, very grumpy. Hudad calls him Monkey Boy. Gets super excited when he goes to bed in his cage. Hudad has to get him out the cage to put his bed in it as he will always get in their first as he’s so excited to go to sleep. Was originally brought up with cats so has a tendency to behave like one. He also loves glittery, girlie things and when humum puts her bracelets on his head. Strange dog.
Ali: Always thought she was Rottweiler X (as that’s what her previous owners told us) but she is in fact a Collie X with an Hungarian Vizsla and Vag’s sister. Named after Alice Cooper. She loves sitting with Humum on the sofa if Pea and Barry aren’t already there. She likes sleeping in a cage at night because she feels safe. She was a rescue dog with her sister. She shows her feelings more than Vag though. When she had a poorly paw you could visibly see that she was miserable and upset. Loves jumping on humum for cuddles when she least expects it which surprises our humum and did once break the stool she was sitting on… oops…
and we also had
“I’m Shelby: I’m 15 and I’m a very noisy Porkie. I’m the oldest out of all of the furries. I was hunan’s present to humum and hudad and got round humum by putting my head under her chin and pulling a soppy face – works every time. I have my own beanbag which I love sitting on but will also try to sit on both the beanbags in the house at the same time if I get a chance because I’m Shelby and humum let’s me get away with it”. But sadly Shelby passed away just as she turned 18. RIP baby girl, we will always have you in our hearts. She walked over rainbow bridge at 17 years old.
And Vag (Vegas): Rottweiler X (we know through a DNA test, that she was in fact a Collie X with an Hungarian Vizsla). Doesn’t like men apart from hudad who she adores. She’s always rolling on her back and she loves her belly rubbed. Humum can’t cuddle her normally as she always flips straight on her back. Really hates cages so sleeps with Barry and Shelby. Rescued (and already had the name so couldn’t change it). Rest in Peace Vegas. Mummy and Daddy love you and miss you with all our hearts. Run free beautiful girl, with your beau Biscuit. She walked over rainbow bridge at 14 years old.
