Humum is called Jackie. Our humum stays at home with us because she is disabled and finds it very difficult to walk around. The reason we have this site is because our humum recently lost her little fur boy Biscuit. Biscuit was 12 weeks old when humum got him and at the time her depression had hit rock bottom. Biscuit was such a beautiful, caring little dog (he was a working cocker spaniel) who gave her lots of cuddles. Her depression lifted totally after Biscuit came into her world so our humum says that he saved her life. Sadly Biscuit got ill in 2013 and after having a cancer lump removed from his body, the vets found he had nodules on his liver. Humum and Hudad gave him the medication he needed and changed his diet to make him healthier but at the end of January he took a turn for the worst and they took him to the vets. The vet misdiagnosed him with gastroenteritis which actually turned out to be liver failure (which is why we’ve all moved vets to a better one now) and we lost him. It broke humum’s heart. Although she took photos of him and videos she realised she never catalogued enough memories of his fabulous life so started It’s The Dogs Life so she can put all her memories down in writing and pictures of the rest of us. A living memorial for Biscuit and an ongoing diary for the rest of us furries.
Hudad is Andy. He does all the running about with us, taking us for walks, buying our dog food, taking us to be groomed. He thinks he’s in charge. He’s wrong.
Humum and Hudad both review at Us Two Friends with our Huaunt and Huncle Kelly & Will.
